How to get the most orgasms from your vibrator

A vibrator can be a fantastic way to add more orgasms to your life but, as with anything, the more you look after your vibrator, the more orgasms it will give you. Follow the Lovers’ Guide tips for vibrator maintenance and you can guarantee you’ll still be enjoying orgasms from your faithful friend years into the future.

1.         Always remove the batteries from your vibrator between uses. It will make them last longer so you’ll be looking after the environment as well as getting the maximum amount of orgasms from every AA.

2.         Clean your vibrator using a specially designed spray or wipes after every use. It will help prevent it from corroding and will keep it hygienically ready to go the next time you fancy a bit of fun.

3.         Store your vibrator in its original packaging or buy a specially designed bag or box. Putting your vibrator into a crammed underwear drawer or hiding it in a bathroom cabinet can put pressure on the vibrator casing or expose it to moisture, both of which can damage it.

4.         Never use silicone lubricant with a silicone vibrator as it will corrode the vibe meaning no more orgasms for you.

5.         Start masturbating with your fingers and only bring your vibrator into play when you’re nearing orgasm. By doing this, you’ll help ensure that you still find manual masturbation exciting, build up anticipation which will make your orgasm much more intense and will also save batteries for those times when you really need them so it’s an all round winner.

6.         Never use the same toy anally and vaginally unless you cover it with a condom first. Bacteria from the anus can lead to yeast infections if they’re spread to the vagina. And yeast infections are a sure fire way to minimise the amount of orgasms you’ll have!

7.         Similarly, never share vibrators with anyone else unless you use a condom to protect them. Sexually transmitted infections can be spread through sex toys as well as direct physical contact so you need to make sure that you protect yourself by protecting your vibrator.

8.         If your vibrator is made from ‘real feel’ cyberskin or similar, buy some corn flower. After you’ve washed your vibrator, give it a fine dusting of corn flower to return it to the way that it felt when you first got it out of the box.

9.         As with shoes, make up and clothes, if you find a vibrator that gives you the best orgasms of your life, it makes sense to buy in bulk. Vibrator models change every year and no matter how well you look after your vibe, there will come a time when you have to send it to the big sex shop in the sky. By planning ahead, you’ll ensure that you’ve got orgasms guaranteed for years to come (no pun intended).

10.       Above all, make sure that you read the instructions when you first get your vibrator (assuming that it comes with a set). You might be gagging to get down to it but if you’re so impatient for your orgasm that you don’t check how to correctly use your toy, you could end up breaking it. And if you do, there will be no vibrato assisted orgasms for you at all.
