Premature ejaculationPremature Ejaculation

Many men worry about premature ejaculation, with around 30% of men saying they climax too early. They often imagine that they and their partner would enjoy sexual intercourse much more, and it would be much easier for the woman to reach orgasm, if they could only hold off ejaculation for just a few minutes longer than normal.

It is, though, worth asking: what is premature ejaculation? In other words, how long should a man 'last' prior to coming if he is not to be considered 'premature'?

There is no hard and fast rule for this. For most of us, premature ejaculation is simply coming too soon for both the man and his partner. Expectations are certainly rising about how long a man should last. In the Kinsey Report of 1948, Alfred Kinsey estimated that men lasted on average for two and a half minutes. That figure has certainly gone up since then.

For other men, though, premature ejaculation is a reality. They come immediately on contact with their partner - or even just at the sight of her.

Help is at hand for all. Men can learn to last longer and - at least as importantly - learn new ways other than intercourse to please their partner.

And for those who do suffer from premature ejaculation, we offer techniques which will gradually work to slow you down and give you greater control over your orgasms.
