Most older men wish they could get laid more often, a poll has found. The ComRes figures show that more than half of men aged 60 and over are sexually frustrated – but the same is not true for women of a similar age. Almost half of the 1,330 respondents said they want more sex than they currently have. However, while a massive 61% of men said they were sexually frustrated, only 21% of women were – with more women saying they don’t want to have sex more often. The survey for BBC Radio Five Live also discovered why those people want to have more sex. The biggest reason given was that their partner does not want more sex (40%), while others said they are no longer phusically able to have sex (26%) or they don’t have a partner (20%). The gender gap reared its head again when the over-60s were asked if sex is an important part of their life. It is no longer a priority for most women, with only 16% saying it was important compared to 42% of men.
